Drawing figures on reams of printer paper
They duel, they really got at each other
On this page, they both get what’s coming
On this page, the bad guy wins
He pretends to make friends and apologise
And then the traitorous bastard swallows the good one whole!
Violent movements in quick expression
Zigzagging across the page
Life on paper is far from fair. Here, a woman tied to a post, reasons with a dragon; which frankly looks more like a big square truck. She is having none of it and tells him to eat the town that did this to her (none of the words are on paper, these are improvised under my breath) sotto voce. So quickly a town is scrawled, rectangles and a big steeple for the fat priest. And more quickly the dragon flies over, he sets flame with big triangles and spikey looking leaves. No one makes it out, even the priest who is skewered and roasted on the pinnacle of the spire. “Delicious” says the dragon.
